THE COLOR INSPIRATION: TEAL + COOL NEUTRALS
For this palette, I choose a bright white tulip table.
I laid down a blue-grey rug with some texture to tone down some of the teal hues I will bring in later.
I hung grey drapes that had a subtle texture to them. If you are feeling a bit more bold, you can use a drape with a pattern instead.
I wanted to make the teal feel like the star of the show so I only used it on the dining chairs to pull focus here.
I imagined this room as being on the smaller side so I added a small bar cart to the room for extra storage. I like that it can be moved around while entertaining. You could replace this option with a buffet if you have a larger space.
I like statement chandeliers and this one delivers! I love its modern mid century feel and its oversized presence. This is the base of our design. These items are what I like to call key investments pieces. They are the pieces that you will touch everyday for years to come. I like to make sure these are good quality and mostly neutral items (my neutrals colors are white, grey, navy blue, black and beige).
I wanted to give this dining room more personality so I choose three interesting photography pieces for the wall.
I added some table accessories and finally plants! I believe every room needs plants, fresh flowers and/or greenery to add life to the space!
