I dislike coming home to a dark house, so I use timers with my lamps to ensure a lovely welcome home. I keep my entryway minimal, featuring a few stacked books, a vase with greenery or flowers, an item that reflects my personality (like a book stand displaying a favorite book), and a candle to keep my home smelling pleasant.
