Rocklin Project: Living Room Photo Tour

Our recent Edesign project was in Rocklin, CA. Our client wanted to update her home and enlisted us to help with the furniture and finishing touches in several spaces. Today, we are sharing the living room photo tour!

Our client's style is transitional and she already had some great pieces to work with. Her wish-list included new chairs with clean lines, pillows, accessories and new tile for the fireplace.

- The Concept -

The concept for this space is light and airy with a palette of blues, greys & brass accents. We kept the original sectional in the design, knowing the client would replaced it at a later date. The client decided on this gorgeous Kipton Sectional from Arhaus.

We adding a soft, elegant rug with subtle grey, camel and ivory tones to anchor the space. The old chairs were replaced with ones in a classic style that have a polished silhouette. I love the clean lines paired with the nail-head trim detail. This chair comes in many different fabrics and colors too!

We really wanted to highlight the fireplace and make it the focal point. So we replaced the old tile that felt very heavy with a gorgeous Carrara Marble tile. This amazing abstract art piece makes a big statement and draws more attention to the fireplace.

We kept the styling on the side table pretty simple. Isn't this lamp gorgeous? It is one of my favorites to use!

I love adding brass accents in my designs to add warmth.

New pillows were added to soften the space.

Accessories and fresh flowers were adding to give the room more interest.

I love the natural texture from the basket against the marble tile.

The console got two new lamps to add symmetry. Adding potted plants or fresh greenery will add another layer of interest and keep the room feeling fresh.

We will be sharing the Rocklin Project dining room photo tour next so keep checking back!
