Ask Abigail Amira: Our Favorite Saturated Blues

Lately, I have been receiving a lot of questions about my favorite colors. So today I thought I would round up some of my favorite saturated blues. I like to use these colors to create a bold design in a sophisticated way. They are perfect as an accent wall or paired with beautiful wainscoting.

First up is my favorite blue, Benjamin Moore's Hale Navy. This color is so beautiful and works in almost any lighting conditions. It has just the right blend of warm and cool tones, so it will mix effortlessly with most flooring and home decor (I love to add plants to create a pop of deep green against the wall color). This color is so versatile and can be used on walls, cabinets or even exteriors.

Next up is this fun Indigo Ink color by Behr. This color goes well with lighter wood finishes and when this color is paired with white wainscoting, it will create one stunning room.

Another pretty color by Benjamin Moore is Gentleman's Gray. It has a very masculine, tailored suit kind of feel about it. It works well in bedrooms with feminine touches.

Then we have Sherwin William's Anchors Aweigh. This deep navy color has so much potential. I love how they used here in this nursery and as you can see it transitioned beautifully into a toddlers bedroom.

When I think about a navy blue, this is usually the color that pops in my mind first. This is Sherwin William's Naval and it will not disappoint. I like that it doesn't go to "royal" blue and it has a nice neutral undertone making it a great color almost anywhere, including on exteriors.

Last we have Sherwin William's Rainstrom. This color looks beautiful with lots of natural light and is a great companion with metal finishes
