I am so excited to share one of my favorite workshops we do here at Abigail Amira with you. There is just something about sticking fresh flowers inside a locally grown pumpkin vase that makes my heart happy.
Fall is fast approaching here in Missouri so I thought it was the perfect time to share photos from last years Pumpkin Centerpiece Workshop.
This workshop is one of my favorites to host and was very popular with our private groups.
We used beautiful, locally grown pumpkins from a nearby farm as our vessel. We pre-carved each pumpkin and used a small glass vase insert to prevent early rotting.
We used Seeded Eucalyptus to create our framework for the arrangement. I love this green in the fall. It has beautiful seed pods that add texture and the grey-green color doesn't overpower the flowers.
For the flowers we used Gerber Daisies as our focal flower and Carnations, Alstroemeria and Green Dianthus(This one is a textural wonder).
Whether you are a beginner or a pro, these classes are fun for everyone! We love seeing new friendships made as well as old friends bonding.
There is nothing better than getting your hands a little dirty and creating something beautiful.
With our hands-on workshops, our goal is to give you the confidence to use these techniques in your own home too!
If you are interested in booking this workshop for a private party of ten or more people, call us or send us a message! We love hosting group parties!
